Stomp 'N' Chomp - Animal Enrichment Day

Get ready for pumpkin pandemonium at Fresno Chaffee Zoo!

Halloween at the Zoo is for the animals too! On Saturday, October 29 from 9am to 2pm, some of the animals will feast on pumpkins during Stomp 'n' Chomp. Throughout the day animal caretakers will give selective residents palate pleasing treats as part of the Zoo's enrichment program designed to stimulate natural behaviors in the animals such as foraging and play. Elephants, orangutans, and birds will be among the animals that will get a chance to pound, pulverize and partake of pumpkins.

The "gourd"geous treats is part of the Zoo's ongoing enrichment program to help enrich the lives of the Zoo's animals, promote natural behaviors, keep the animals mentally stimulated and provide added enjoyment for visitors.

Stomp ' n' Chomp is FREE with regular admission to the Zoo. Fresno Chaffee Zoo Members receive FREE admission.

Animal Schedule coming soon!
